About Kioosko

Hi! I’m Kio, the illustrator behind Kioosko — basically a little digital space where I share my art, my ideas, and the things that make me happy.

I’ve been drawing since forever — mostly just for fun. What started as doodles on random paper corners eventually turned into something I can’t imagine my life without. I don’t take myself too seriously, but I do put a lot of love into everything I create.

My art isn’t about perfection — it’s about emotion, color, and a bit of chaos (the good kind). Thanks for being here and for taking the time to look around!

My Inspiration

Kioosko started because I just couldn’t not draw. Inspiration hits at weird times — from a song lyric, a funny conversation, or something completely random I see during the day.

When I work on commissions, I love chatting and getting to know the person behind the idea. It’s like combining two worlds — theirs and mine — and seeing what comes out of it. I don’t aim for something “unique” or “perfect,” just something that feels real and personal.

There’s always a bit of me in every piece — sometimes it’s the colors, sometimes the mood, sometimes just a silly detail that makes me smile.

Artistic Style

My style mixes a bit of everything — expressive characters, bold colors, and a touch of weirdness that makes it feel alive. It’s playful, a little messy, and definitely personal.

There’s an alternative, digital vibe to it, inspired by indie games, cartoons, and internet art. I like using color to show emotion and letting each piece be a little different from the last. It’s not about standing out — it’s about having fun with it and making something that feels mine.

Notable Achievements

I’ve worked on a few indie game projects, mostly doing character design and illustrations. One of them even made it to Steam, which is still kind of wild to think about.

Working with small creative teams taught me a lot about collaboration — and that making art with others can be just as fun (and chaotic) as drawing alone at 2 a.m.

There’s still a lot I want to try and learn. This is just me, doing my thing, one drawing at a time.
